Meet The Chefs Campaign

Cedar Fair sought to elevate the dining experience at its amusement parks by hiring Executive Chefs to transform each park's menu with unique, fresh, local flavors. While the dining experiences became undeniably better, NPS and OSAT scores had yet to catch up.

Our hypothesis was the Executive Chef program was suffering from an awareness problem. If guests knew more about the park's Executive Chef, would their perceptions of the dining experience improve?

I proposed a multi-channel campaign, inviting guests to Meet The Chef. From an intense one-day shoot, we were able to produce short documentaries, digital signage, menuboard content, a recruiting video, and assets for print and digital.

The documentary content alone produced 49MM new impressions per year. Applications poured in and chefs achieved local celebrity status.
